The Problem
Standard Type G appliance plugs go in one way, with the cable pointing at the floor. That creates problems: blocked extension sockets, cables hitting obstructions, wasted space behind anything near a wall outlet.
PLUGGY reroutes the live and neutral contacts internally, flipping the socket input 180°. Your appliance plugs in upside down with the cable running upward.
The adaptor also elevates the insertion point slightly, moving the connection to a different plane, which gives you clearance where a standard socket wouldn't.

How It Works
The adaptor fits any standard UK wall socket or extension lead.
Insert your existing three-pin plug into the adaptor. The cable now exits toward the ceiling.

Our Story
PLUGGY began when we wanted to plug an appliance in the other way up and found that no product on the market let us do it. So we designed one.
The first sketches became a patent-pending, BS 1363-3 compliant product that has now sold over 20,000 units. It was designed in Belfast by Gremlin Lab Ltd, a small product-design company.
